I am looking for a photographer for my wedding. Where do I start?
It can be difficult to find a professional photographer so don’t hesitate to give us a call or fire over an email. After you’ve reviewed our website, you may have already come across a feature photographer you are interested in using. If not, you may require our assistance to help you find one who better suits your needs. It’s the most important day of your life – and we’re here to help! You don’t only want “nice wedding photos”, you want timeless memories.
Are engagement photos included in the wedding packages?
We strongly recommend engagement photos and do have some packages that include them. Not only do engagement photos give your selected feature photographer the chance to meet you in advance, they also give you the chance to practice posing. Our feature photographers practice the art of creatively captured photography so you feel comfortable and the photos look more natural on your wedding day.
How far in advance are engagement photos shot?
Depending on when you’re getting married, we generally recommend getting your engagement photos done at least 2-3 months before your wedding day. That way you have time to go through them and decide which you’d like printed/displayed vs. making a spontaneous decision during crunch time! You’ll have the comfort of checking one more item off your list and the guarantee of pro wedding photos!
How long does it take to get our proofs back?
Generally this takes 7-10 days after your wedding. Once payment has been made in full, we can release your proofs in an online gallery you can share with your family and friends.
Which areas does Serenity Studios service?
Serenity Studios currently services all of the GTA. If photographers are required outside of the GTA or for destination weddings, this can also be coordinated with an appropriate amount of lead time. This also allows us to obtain all of your wedding photography information in advance and create a wedding photography schedule that includes a back up plan in case of inclement weather.
It takes more than a perfect digital camera to get capture the best shots… the location, lighting and subject matter must all be considered. For example, spring wedding pictures can be beautiful, but they can also be messy and cold if it’s raining. We always want to prepare for the unexpected.
How long does it take to get our prints and/or albums after our wedding?
Prints usually take 7-10 business days from the time your place your order. Albums on the other hand take app. 6-8 weeks since they have to be printed and assembled. If wedding video graphics are also incorporated, this may take app. 8-10 weeks or less.
